What a long crazy journey this has been! I want to thank each and everyone who listened to the show. You truly made it an enjoyable experience. Meeting you all at live events or on the chat or on the phone has been amazing. It is something I will never forget. In light of recent threats to myself and my family I have decided to close down the show. I did not start this to allow people a platform to attack my family. This is a show about little toy men….moving on little toy worlds. It was supposed to be fun. Personal attacks and threats take that fun away.
I will miss all of you.

40k radio is back!! Romeo from battlefoam has taken up the mantle and they are back in business!

and has degraded into nothing but gay jokes, weird homo-eroticism between hosts, and battle foam plugs. george from florida was probably the most positive thing they had on the show, but trying to coordinate hosts from arizona and florida was too hard. i really hope george will get his own show, at least there was some sort of substance on the first couple episodes with him at the helm, i have no problem with romeo running the show, but its more like a bull through a china shop of a show.

course im still subscribing, and listening, his interviews are decent but his too much "familiarity" with the other two hosts is weird. captain rickarius is funny, and gomer kyle knows his shit [being a former battlebunker guy] i just hope it gets a bit more structured and solid soon. im tired of every other comment turning into some ass grabbing joke or worse. its just a bit too much and i end up fastforwarding through the show more than id like to.

if you don't like the gay jokes. then i suggest for you to never listen to podhammer if you ever pick up fantasy, its hilarious and informative but they tend to go into the things like gay jokes and such on occasion.

havent been listening to it lately, listened to first and 2nd, but i have been downloading the episodes so ill get around to seeing how the rest of the episodes turn out.

i listen to podhammer weekly. i dont mind the jokes, its just wheres the meat? [hehe]

the meat of the show that is.

i mean you have to have an actual purpose versus just sitting there and playing grab ass with your two buds to make it a podcast. i dont like having to wade through 40 minutes of complete crab to hear 5 minutes of content. like literally the last show was 20-25 minutes of cross fire, which was real content, and an hour and a half of dicking around with a little bit of content thrown in.

Well, all Ive got to say is... Even with all your angst over the content of the show, you have failed to recognize that you knew 40k radio was back up and told NO ONE on this board... I really wonder what this board is for any more... Seems like only a handful of people actually try to find anything, and then when we do find something, people already know about it, they just didnt feel like telling any one else...
I dont care if its grab assy or not, as long as they talk 40k... Im not so homophobic that it bothers me to hear people joking inappropriately. 40k radio worked, and still does, because its a buncha gamers doing the exact thing we do in person, talk shit, talk reviews, and talk opinions... The only thing that bothers me is its been back on for 6 weeks and nobody saying anything. Had to come across it on a nostalgia tour of my bookmarks.

good point. i suppose it never really occurred to me to post that it was up and running again. having subscribed to it via itunes it just auto updates itself and i guess i assumed that it was the same for everyone. and looking back on it, my main reaction wasn't "thats awesome!" but instead i kinda ripped on the show when all you did was trying to relay the information. makes sense.

as for whats the actual purpose of the boards? i dunno. but having just gone back the other day and looked at the gsg boards, its amazing how inactive those have become. the whole purpose i thought of these was to give new gamers and old ones a place to find each other and the game. its helped me alot in that respect.

ill start pulling my own weight and try to err on the side of more positive posting.

I know what you mean about the GSG board. The only one who regularly posts there is Shaekspear and it sometimes looks like he is talking to himself. Every once in a while he finds some good stuff but none of it really worth posting about.
