LOL....Dread Knights

Post by Ordinance on Fri May 13, 2011 6:36 pm

I was just looking around on warseer, but no this didnt come from there. Now most MC are fearless, ex: Avatar, Trygon, Tomb Spyder,.......

The Dread Knight isnt listed as being fearless. I just think it is funny how the big bad Dread Knight is vulnerable to Psycher battle squads, marker lights, and Pariah. lol! Of course no one uses pariah now do they. Twisted Evil

I think that all monterous creatures are fearless as part of being a monsterous creature, aren't they?

Nope, according to the rulebook, monstrous creatures only get relentless and 2d6 pen.

Lets just look at MCs for a moment. Most of them are either Tyranid or Chaos. All of which are fearless. Then you have The C'tan and Tomb Spyders and the Avatar which again are listed as fearless. Honestly I can see why people would assume the DreadKnight should be fearless, but they arn't

Wow, so they aren't fearless.... does it have ATSKNF at least? If not, it can be run down in close combat, which I think is funny as hell.

Well that's interesting. It only really matters for HTH, as they can't be forced to take shooting morale checks. I guess you could weaken resolve or fear the darkness or pin them though, and all of that is pretty funny.

They are single model MCs so they dont take moral tests for losing 25%.
